How to see your WhatsApp QR code
In WhatsApp, go to Settings and tap the QR code next to your name. That code lets someone else add you as a contact, and you can share it or reset it anytime.
In the WhatsApp Business app, your business QR lives in the app's tools, under «Short link». It opens a chat with your business, can carry a default message and doesn't expire unless you reset it or delete the account. If you reset it, the old one stops working.

How to scan a WhatsApp QR code
Point your phone camera at the code and tap the prompt that appears: the chat opens in WhatsApp. The scanner inside WhatsApp's settings only reads the app's official QR codes, like a profile's or a group's, so use the camera for a QR like this one.
If what you want is to log in to WhatsApp Web, the code is scanned the other way around: the computer shows it and you read it from your phone, in Settings, under «Linked devices».
How to print your QR code so it scans well
- Print it at least 2 × 2 cm (about 0.8 in), and bigger the farther away people will scan it from, like a shop window or a billboard.
- Black on a white or very light background: low-contrast or inverted colors fail on many cameras.
- Keep the white margin around the code; the generator already includes it.
- Use short messages: the longer the message, the denser the QR and the harder it is to read at a small size.
