The Elocuenti MCP, step by step.
The Elocuenti MCP server lets an AI assistant such as Claude or ChatGPT work on your business with your own account: it reads your results, builds segments, prepares campaigns and configures your AI agent. This page explains how to connect it, how sign-in works, what it can do and where to get help.
Connect Claude (web, desktop and mobile)
The server address is https://mcp.elocuenti.com/mcp. You need a Claude plan that allows connectors.
- 01
Open the connectors.
In Claude, go to Customize, then Connectors. On a Team or Enterprise plan an Owner adds the connector first, from Organization settings.
- 02
Add a custom connector.
Choose Add custom connector and enter https://mcp.elocuenti.com/mcp as the server URL. Leave the OAuth credentials empty.
- 03
Sign in with your Elocuenti account.
Click Connect. Elocuenti's own login page opens: enter the email and password of your account, choose which of your businesses the assistant can reach and approve.
- 04
Ask for something.
Start with "Who am I connected as?" or "How did my last campaigns do?". Tools that change or delete data are marked, so your assistant can ask you first.
Connect ChatGPT
- 01
Open the place where you add a connector.
In ChatGPT, open the settings where a custom connector (MCP server) is created. On business plans a workspace admin may need to allow it first.
- 02
Paste the server URL.
Use https://mcp.elocuenti.com/mcp and choose OAuth if it asks for the authentication.
- 03
Sign in and approve.
The same Elocuenti login page opens. After you approve, the connector is ready in your chats.
Connect Claude Code
- 01
Add the server.
In your terminal run: claude mcp add --transport http elocuenti https://mcp.elocuenti.com/mcp
- 02
Authenticate.
Inside Claude Code run /mcp, pick elocuenti and sign in in the browser window that opens.
- 03
Ask for something.
Claude Code loads the tools on demand and asks for your approval before running one that changes data.
How sign-in works
The MCP uses the standard OAuth 2.0 authorization code flow with PKCE. The assistant sends you to Elocuenti's own login page, so your password is typed on Elocuenti and never reaches Claude or ChatGPT.
- You choose which of your businesses the assistant can reach. You can leave any of them out.
- Your role in each business (viewer, editor or admin) decides what the assistant can read and change on your behalf.
- The assistant receives a short-lived access token (15 minutes) and renews it automatically each time it is used, so you are only asked to sign in again after 30 days without use.
- You can disconnect at any time from your assistant's connector settings; from then on it cannot renew its access.
- Developers can read the technical reference for clients, token lifetimes and errors at www.elocuenti.com/docs/mcp.
What you can do, by area
Each area has tools to read and, where it makes sense, tools to change. Every tool says whether it only reads or can change data, so your assistant knows when to ask you first.
AI agent
Rules, objectives, case types, escalation reasons and your own tools, in plain language, and a test conversation to see how the agent answers.
Segments and audiences
Describe who you are looking for, count them before you save and keep the list ready for a campaign.
Templates and campaigns
Write the template, send it for validation, preview the campaign and launch it once you approve, on WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger or by call.
See WhatsApp campaignsPipelines and automations
Create stages, move conversations and set the automations a stage triggers.
See automationsContacts, tags and attributes
Look up a customer profile, tag people and define the data your agent captures.
Conversations
Assign, close or hand a conversation back to the AI, and resolve escalations.
Results and ad attribution
Ask about conversations, campaigns and sales with your real data, see which ad brings sales and read your Elopay results in Colombia.

| You ask | What the MCP does | What you get |
|---|---|---|
| "How did my last campaigns do?" | Lists your campaigns and reads one in detail. | Sent, delivered, read and replied counts for each, such as 8 sent, 7 delivered and 5 read for August's promotion. |
| "Build a segment of my customers in Bogotá." | Counts the matching contacts first. The assistant then shows you the result and asks before it saves the segment (that question comes from the assistant, not from the server). | A saved segment and the count it had when it was created. |
| "Send a 15 % promotion to my VIP list." | Prepares a preview with the exact message, how many people receive it and a control group, and waits for your approval before creating the campaign. | Nothing is sent until you approve. After that, the campaign is created from the plan you saw. |
| "Never promise exact delivery dates." | Creates a rule for your AI agent and shows it with your other rules. | A new active rule the agent follows in every new conversation. |
Built so you stay in control
- Campaigns always go through a preview, and the campaign is created only with the plan and confirmation phrase of that preview, after you approve it.
- Tools that change or delete data are marked as such, so Claude and ChatGPT ask before running them.
- Text written by customers or your team is delivered as data, never as instructions for the assistant.
- Marketing consent is respected: people who opted out are left out of campaign previews.
- Your payments stay in your payment flows: the MCP reads Elopay results (Colombia) and does not charge, refund or transfer money.
- Each request is limited per user and tool to prevent accidents.
Support and contact
For help connecting the MCP, a question about a tool or to report a problem or a security concern, write to contacto@elocuenti.com. You can also book a call with the button below and we walk you through it.
Inside the assistant, the report_problem prompt sends a bug, an improvement or a question straight to the Elocuenti team with the details of what happened.
Read the privacy policyFrequently asked questions about connecting the MCP
Which address do I use to connect?
https://mcp.elocuenti.com/mcp. The same address works for Claude, ChatGPT and Claude Code.
Do I need an API key?
No. You sign in with your Elocuenti account through OAuth, so there are no keys to copy or rotate.
Can the assistant send messages to my customers by itself?
Only through a campaign, and only after you approve the preview. There is no tool that messages a single contact on its own.
How is data protected?
We encrypt data in transit and at rest, isolate each business's data and control access by role. Payments are processed by the payment gateway: we don't store card data.

Book a call: we connect the MCP to your account with you and show you what to ask it from day one.
